Italian food has been on my mind a lot because I am lucky enough to be leading a Rotary International Group Study Exchange to Puglia, Italy in May. Our first meeting needed to be focused on team building–what could be better than coming together over food? So, I stopped at Vivano’s Italian grocery on the Hill in St. Louis and found all kinds of great stuff–including wine from Puglia, lady fingers to make tiramisu and lovely marscapone cheese. Shopping for the food was almost as much fun as eating it later! The group was fantastic and had impressive knife skills! The food was delicious and I find I am so looking forward to the journey with these people. Great start! Tasty, too.
